Who operates checkout
Snapperon is provided by Dmitry Volokhov, based in Georgia (the country). This page supplements the Snapperon Privacy Policy for the website version and checkout.snapperon.com. Contact Snapperon support for privacy requests.
Your screenshots stay on your Mac
Checkout and license verification do not upload screenshots, annotations, or screen contents. You do not need a Snapperon account.
PayPal payments
PayPal handles your payment details under its Privacy Statement. We do not receive your card number or PayPal password. PayPal provides transaction and subscription information needed to confirm payment, manage renewal, handle refunds, and provide support. PayPal may also make buyer contact and billing information available in its merchant services.
License records
Our payment service stores purchase references, selected plan, PayPal transaction or subscription identifiers, creation and paid-period dates, renewal and refund status, signed licenses, and private recovery identifiers. It retains payment-event identifiers to avoid processing the same event twice. We use these records to deliver and restore purchased access, prevent fraud, manage billing, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Records are retained for those purposes; there is no automatic deletion schedule for purchase records.
The app keeps your license and pending-purchase recovery reference locally. Keep your saved license private: it can restore Pro on another Mac. We do not automatically email licenses. Save the license after purchase or use Save License in the app. If it is lost, contact support with your purchase reference; we may need proof of purchase.
Hosting and necessary storage
Cloudflare hosts checkout and its payment database and processes request information such as IP addresses, URLs, request times, and security events. See its Privacy Policy. Rate limiting uses a hash of the connecting IP address. Application logs exclude license tokens, private checkout identifiers, and payment credentials. Hosting providers may separately process request information under their service settings. Providers may process information outside your country.
Browser checkout uses a necessary, secure HttpOnly cookie lasting up to 30 days to associate the browser with its purchase. Native checkout uses a private identifier saved by the app. We add no advertising or visitor analytics scripts.
Your choices
You can clear browser cookies or local app data, but doing so can remove recovery information. Deleting the app or cookies does not cancel renewal. Manage renewal in Snapperon or PayPal. Privacy and deletion requests can be sent to support; legal recordkeeping and dispute obligations may require us to retain relevant purchase information. The main Privacy Policy explains your applicable access, correction, deletion, objection, and complaint rights.
